Alumna Danielle DiRosa '03 Featured on MyFox Tampa Bay News

Emmanuel alumna Danielle DiRosa '03 was recently quoted and featured in a television news piece on gender-separate classrooms for middle school students on MyFox Tampa Bay.
DiRosa teaches in a boys-only classroom at Academy Prep, a private, tuition-free middle school in St. Petersburg, Florida. The school has featured same-sex classrooms for 14 years now in an attempt to eliminate distractions for the students.
"Male students are more focused in class rather than being distracted by the ladies being in the room," said DiRosa.
