Former Massachusetts Governor Dukakis to Speak on 2012 Presidential Campaign

Michael S. Dukakis, 1988 Democratic presidential candidate and three-term Governor of Massachusetts, will be speaking on "Campaign 2012: Issues and Outcomes" on Friday, November 16th, at 3:30 p.m. in the Janet M. Daley Library Lecture Hall. Dukakis, a Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Northeastern University, will reflect on the 2012 presidential campaigns, race results and post-election implications.

The lecture is being organized by the Department of Political Science and Professor of Political Science Marie Natoli.

"Former Democratic presidential candidate and Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis draws upon his extensive political career to bring insights to contemporary politics," Natoli said. "His down-to-earth personality adds to a conversation that is engaging and memorable."
