Students Blog During Inaugural Summer Program in Crete

June 18, 2012
A group of Emmanuel students took part in a three-week intensive international relations program in June as part of the College's inaugural Eastern Mediterranean Security Studies certificate program. The students, led by Chair of the Department of Political Science Petros Vamvakas, took two advanced-level courses at the Institute for Cretan Studies and participated in presentations from policy experts and educational excursions around the Greek island.
The program is a continuation of Emmanuel's partnership with the Institute for Cretan Studies, which hosted Dr. Vamvakas and students during his spring break travel course, "In the Foosteps of Thucydides."
The group maintained a blog throughout their stay. Click here to read more about their experience in Crete.
