Black Student Union Celebrating 40th Anniversary

Emmanuel's Black Student Union (BSU) is celebrating 40 years on campus with a formal gala and collection of photos! The gala celebration will be filled with joy, laughter and memories as we honor the legacy of the Black Student Union. As part of the celebration, the BSU will honor four individuals who have had a significant impact on the longevity of the organization:
- Charlotte Simmonds-Hammons ‘71
- Sr. Mary T. Kelleher, SND
- Albert Hayle ‘05
- Dr. Sheila Nutt.

Show Your Support:
We are asking attendees of the gala to bring a donation of $5 or more to support the work of the participants of the May 2011 Southern Africa Service Learning Trip. Donations will help ship supplies to the charitable organizations they worked with. These organizations provide care for orphaned/vulnerable children, and those infected/affected by HIV/AIDS. A participant from the trip will be available to collect donations and answer any questions.
