Sr. Janet Eisner, SND, Meets with College Presidents, Governor

Emmanuel College President Sister Janet Eisner, SND was among the 35 college presidents who joined Governor Deval Patrick at the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (AICUM) Presidents Only meeting held at Pine Manor College on November 16th. The meeting was meant to facilitate communication and engagement between the governor and colleges and universities, particularly in education policy and workforce and economic initiatives.
The AICUM-sponsored meeting with Governor Patrick was just one of many meetings with leaders on Beacon Hill in an effort to cultivate strong collaborative relationships and to remind policy makers and legislative leaders of the value and contributions of the independent higher education sector.
