Graphics Class Participates in American Poster Institute Contest

Recently, members of Assistant Professor of Art Chris Jackson’s Graphic Design class participated in the American Poster Institute’s “Flatstock Poster Show Series” Student Contest, a national showcase highlighting some of the nation’s top poster artists. As part of a class assignment, the students designed posters for the contest, which were then judged by a panel of American Poster Institute directors and current artists. Jackson viewed the project as a great way to “gain exposure beyond the classroom” and was pleased that a number of his students work was placed on the contest’s Web site.
