Women's Basketball to Visit China Over Winter Recess

Over the winter break, the Emmanuel College women's basketball team will travel to Beijing to participate in exhibition games against a number of China's top universities.
During the trip, the Saints have the opportunity to play against Beijing University and Jinli All Stars, as well as tour the numerous historic sites around the country. Guided excursions to the Forbidden City, Great Wall, Beijing Zoo and the 2008 Olympic facilities are just some of the locations scheduled during the Saints' stay from December 28th to January 4th. A total of 39 members of the Emmanuel community will take part in the trip, including players, coaches, staff, family and friends.
Bryan Mahoney from the College's Office of Marketing Communications will be traveling with the team and reporting on the trip. Stay tuned for daily recaps and photos from the team's journey, which will be posted on the Emmanuel College web site.
