Hurricane Information
As our region prepares for Hurricane Irene, please be assured that the College is closely monitoring the storm's progress and severity. As of this afternoon, the National Weather Service predicts the storms arrival on Sunday as a Category 1 Hurricane.
Staff will be in the residence halls with students currently staying on campus, and will be available to answer any questions students might have. Campus Preparedness will closely monitor the storm's progress and will contact students with any updates.
The National Weather Service is predicting possible power outages due to high winds. Should a power outage occur on campus, communication systems—including phone, website, email access—may be temporarily lost. Please be assured that the College has backup power supplies for lights and emergency systems, as well as a supply of food and water available for our students.
