About the Center for Science Education
The Center for Science Education at Emmanuel College has been established to be a major resource in science for K-12 teachers and students, making available quality professional development for elementary and secondary science teachers, promoting scientific literacy, inspiring students to pursue careers in science and providing leadership in science education in Massachusetts. Through access to facilities and resources in the new Maureen Murphy Wilkens Science Center, the Center for Science Education at Emmanuel College provides service to the Greater Boston community with a special focus on serving our urban neighbors.
