The Center for Mission & Spirituality

The Center for Mission & Spirituality isn't a building: It's a cause and feeling that lives within the hearts of all the members, past and present, of the Emmanuel Community. The Center seeks to translate into action the strong mission, beliefs and legacy of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and to make bridges to the sisters locally, nationally and internationally.
"Mission and spirituality are like an underground river flowing beneath the daily events at Emmanuel," said Sister Camilla Burns, SND, Congregational Leader of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur at the inauguration of the Center for Mission and Spirituality in February 2007. "The establishment of this Center is a public reminder of this great underground river and provides a point of access to its life-giving water."
